OUR HISTORY
Good Relations India was established in 1988 as a subsidiary of Good Relation Plc. the first public relations firm to be listed on the London Stock Exchange. Both companies were founded by the PR legend Mr. Anthony Good, OBE.
Mr. Good has been on the board of the UK-India Business Council (UKIBC, formerly the Indo-British Partnership Network, or IBPN) for ten years, having joined as a founding director in 2005. Mr. Good is unquestionably one of the select few who helped to establish the current India-UK relationship.
With a vision for India's development, Mr. Good maintained Good Relations India independent of the Good Relations Group. Since then Good Relations India has played a major role in fostering collaborations between the Indian and British corporate communities. In 2014, Mr. Good received the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in recognition of building the business corridor between the UK and India.
In 2008, Dr Iris Good took over as the Chairperson of Good Relations India. With over 20 years of experience in helping businesses enter the Indian market and 35 years of expertise in technology entrepreneurship and commercialisation, she revolutionised our approach to building and sustaining businesses in India . She has led several joint ventures, launches, and go-to market strategies. Her years of experience in the global business market with a keen focus on India and understanding barriers to doing business, enabled us to implement the art of curating systematic and surgical strategies both in market entry and market positioning. Under her guidance we developed global standards to our project management and expanded our business networks globally.
Over the years, Good Relations India has managed some of the most important and creative mandates in India.
