SOCIAL MEDIA EXECUTIVE
Job description: We are looking for a Social Media Executive to create engaging social media content according to requirements. In this role, you should be highly creative and have a knack for writing witty copies and come up with campaign ideas. To work with the Directors and Head of Digital Marketing to develop, analyse and improve the direct marketing activity of the company and our clients.

Responsibilities

Own the social media space. Be the organisation’s go-to person for all social media outreach

Plan, build and execute a Social Media Content Calendar
-
Understand project requirements and concepts
-
Content writing for website, blog posts, presentations, internal communications, infographics, social media and newsletters
-
Confident in copywriting and generation of content
-
To use Insights and Analytics on social media networks and generate reports based on this data.

Clear understanding of Social Media KPIs like reach, engagement, leads and conversions
-
Ability to execute social media campaigns, contest, polls
-
Monitor and develop reports on competitor activity within social media spaces
-
Management and engagement of online communities and discussion in relevant forum groups
-
Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
-
Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
-
Becoming an advocate of Good Relations India and associated brands in social media spaces
-
Understanding of Keywords, Keyword Placement (density and proximity)

A minimum of 2 years of overall experience in the management of social media pages

A graduate degree preferably in mass media, advertising, journalism.

Responsibility
Client Servicing

Responsible for all client communications
-
Plan and execute strategic campaigns to communicate client messages across various stakeholders
-
Undertake business-to-business and business-to-consumer research through secondary search sources, analyse industry trends and data, and generate client focused updates and opportunities through diligent tracking and monitoring.

Enable client’s business through specialist industry knowledge and research/strategic analysis skill.

Draft monthly communication plans, and end-of-month review reports
-
Draft contact reports highlighting minutes of meeting/call, weekly status reports, briefing documents and monthly plans
-
Review all major deliverables such as strategic briefing, plans and activities
-
Ensure that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met, and that projects are profitable
Media Relations

Understanding of company capabilities and service, and effectively communicates all offerings of the client to the media

Meaningful editorial and content management

Drafting effective and controlled key messages as part of strategic communications

Dealing with enquiries from media and understanding the nature of stories

Handling PR Tools effectively to generate coverage and positive mind-share such as:

Press Releases and Press Meets - Organizing press meets and press briefings and writing and producing presentations and press releases

Contributory and Authored Articles drafting and placement

Media interactions

Profiling of clients and spokespersons to external audiences

Conduct specialised media training workshops and train spokespersons

New Business Development

Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings

Planning and preparing proposal and pitch presentations

Researching effectively on the potential client, industry, competition and SWOT

Communicating GRI’s service offerings to prospective clients
Requirements:

Degree in Media and Communication/ Public Relations

Proven record of at least five years in the field
